Daihatsu Mira Cocoa Launches in Japan

At the Nissan Cube has gone out for a poke-cousin very sui generis in Japan. Daihatsu has announced today the launch of new Mira Cocoa, a model with an urban chic and clearly targeted to women.

This new kei car size 1.530 mm high, facilitating their driving and parking in areas with high traffic density. Like his brothers segment, the Mira Cocoa equip a small three-cylinder engine and 0.6 liters to benefit from significant discounts on insurance and taxes

It develops 58 hp at 7,200 rpm, and can be combined with a CVT gearshift or a four-speed automatic, and is chosen with front-wheel and four wheels. If you are interested in consumption, according to the Japanese approval ranging from 23.5 L / km (4.26 L/100 km) from 2WD CVT, to 18.6 L / km (5.28 L/100 km) of more gaston AWD with automatic transmission.
In line with other kei cars, the last member of the family look is rather lightweight equipment. ABS with EBD and Brake Assist is presented as an option on two of the four trim levels available, and only airbags for driver and passenger. Surprising, therefore, the possibility of mounting elements as a screen backup camera integrated into the central mirror, hardly expected in a car so small.

Prices for Japan’s Daihatsu Mira Cocoa depart from the one million yen (7,515 euros al cambio).
