At the International Motor Show Paris 2010, will present the second generation of the BMW X3, completely renovated with stronger mechanical and better materials. The market launch will be the end of 2010, being built on the North American plant in Spartanburg (South Carolina) where also are riding the BMW X5.
The new BMW X3 has grown in size with 4,648 mm in length, 1,881 mm wide, 1,661 mm tall and a wheelbase of 2,810 mm. In the part of miotor will come with a gasoline inline six-cylinder, a power of 306 hp maximum power at 5,800 rpm, xDrive35i, 3.0-liter Twin Turbo powered dual turbocharger.
The other engine option is a four-cylinder diesel xDrive20d line, 2.0-liter common rail technology, 184 horsepower, torque of 380 Nm. All versions will be associated with a gearbox eight-speed automatic with Steptronic function.
