The carmaker Porsche has released a few hours ago, the first official image of the new Boaster, and the electric version of the Boaster roadster compact: it is not a car ready for commercialization, but just a concept car that the brand Zuffenhausen was designed to test this specific technology in the most diverse ecological conditions (road).
The only image we have permission to observe and judge, today, tells us little of the new Porsche Boaster Concept: apparently, the body of ecological concept car does not vary much from the variation of combustion heat source and the roadster entry -level system may be recognized only for coloring the dichromatic external plate: the color orange and metallic silver color, pull over (the same color also used to decorate the concept car, Porsche 918 RSR), are gradually becoming the hallmarks of the program Porsche Intelligent Performance, which are collected in all studies of alternative and efficient, made by the carmaker's Stuttgart buck.
The new Porsche Boaster is equipped with a pack of lithium-ion batteries by 29 kWh, which forages power two electric propulsion: they, working in combination, produce about 241 horsepower. The Group brand Volkswagen has not released official data and other more precise, on the new Boaster E: has run more than state that the benefits are similar to those of the Boaster S (274 mph top speed, 5.3 seconds go to zero-a-cent).
The electric roadster is designed to study the behavior of road electric technology and the driving behavior of drivers of green vehicles similar: all data collected with the Porsche Boaster and tests will be used to further develop this sophisticated mechanical, but there no confirmation of a possible production of the car for now, Tesla Roadster can sleep soundly.
