Smart forfour on Fiat Uno

Sometimes the back story here is the picture of a prototype of the Smart forfour developed on the platform of the Fiat Punto 1999.

The prototype was designed by an Italian study for the Daimler-Chrysler, when it seemed that it would buy the Fiat group.

But after the car was based on the Mitsubishi Colt and put into production in 2003, but the results were so poor that the project was reeds in 2006.
